This is the successor of Yak Ru The Game (ver 1). After successfully entertaining the world with version 1, we were encouraged to develop this version 2 which is a Pro version. It has included some In App purchases to enhance your game playing experiences. Go on Play the game, Save some Yaks and feel good. We have developed this game entirely using Nepalese resources, from concept to finish.

How to Play the Game:

The game is simple to play. All you have to do is move the rider up or down and tap the screen to release a horn to oncoming Yaks of various colors. As you save more yaks, you will enter various terrain. Along the way, you will encounter Yaks which are carrying bicycle parts on their backs. You must give horns to these Yaks and return they will give you bicycle parts. When you collect all the bicycle parts, you get to mount on a bike. Once mounted on a bike, you will be more powerful and you can save more Yaks.

Yak Ru Story:

Yak Ru - it means Yak Horn. Though the Yak's horns are formidable, and Yaks can get agitated, you have little to fear for being attacked by a Yak. The Yak Ru symbolizes our respect for this hairy, high mountain, beasts of burden that support the lives and livelihoods of the few people hearty enough to endure the Yak's environment.

Bos mutus, a species of wild yak which dwell above 4000 meters above sea level in Tibet and Nepal. They are increasingly becoming vulnerable due to shrinking pasturelands and human activities. This game spreads the awareness to protect wild and endangered animals our planet such as Yaks.

In Nepal, a group of mountain bikers started a unique enduro styled staged mountain biking race in the Annapurna region. They named the race Yak Ru in honor of a remote mountain village which was originally called 'Yak Ru'.
