Under the flag “Learning in Brainport”, the Kennisfestival Learning in Brainport was organized in 2015 and 2016 with more than 80 different organizations and more than 1,000 visitors. Front runners in the field of educational innovation could meet and inspire each other. How are we able to ensure sufficient well -trained professionals and knowledge workers in the region? This is an essential precondition for economic growth. The Learning Kennisfestival in Brainport offers a platform to everyone who makes a contribution or wants to make to the future of the labor market in Brainport. Competences that are requested by companies and knowledge institutions are constantly changing. In addition to technical knowledge and skills, it is also increasingly about competencies such as entrepreneurship, research and design (21st century skills). How do we organize learning in the future for residents aged 0-80 in Brainport? What is already happening and where can we work together to get ahead faster. November 14, 2017, the third edition of the Kennisfestival will take place. A steering and working group from primary and secondary education is working on the interpretation of the new edition.
