The Wixet app to communicate with your contacts instantaneously. To different from the other applications, Wixat is free. This means that you do not have to trust that the application does not do malicious things, you can check it by seeing its source code (which is public).

Wixat always sends and receives messages, ensuring that the messages are sent or informing that the message will be sent as soon as it can (in cases where there is no Internet connection). By limiting only to this task, both battery and memory consumption is really small compared to other messaging applications.
